InterMoor Provides Design Assistance for Wave Converter Moorings.

InterMoor’s Australian engineering team has supported Carnegie Clean Energy on the analysis and design of mooring systems for their latest wave converter prototype.

The collaborative project was carried out at InterMoor premises.

Gavin Crossan, InterMoor Australia Country Manager says: “We are proud to support a local renewable energy company with our expertise, gathered over many years of offshore mooring design projects and installation campaigns for the Oil and Gas industry. Our common goal is to come out with a solution that is optimal for the specific requirements of this project using our proven design methodology. This is one of the first projects in the renewable energy field that InterMoor has contributed to within Australia and we are committed to increase our presence in the sector”.
